Jeff Genovy (born December 4, 1982 in Kalamazoo, Michigan) is an American professional ice hockey player. Genovy is a 3rd round draft pick of the Columbus Blue Jackets[1] and is a player for the Odessa Jackalopes of the Central Hockey League.

He played Jr. A hockey beginning in 1999 for the Detroit Compuware Ambassadors and then the following year for the Soo Indians before moving up to the USHL for the 2001–2002 season. Genovy helped lead the Des Moines Buccaneers to 3rd spot in the USHL East and a playoff spot but the team did not go far into the post season. He was 3rd in scoring on the teams for the 2001–2002 season.[2] Genovy was selected by the Columbus Blue Jackets in the 3rd round #96 overall in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft.
Genovy committed to NCAA Division I Clarkson University for the 2002–2003 season and played all four years with the Golden Knights where he had 22 goals, 34 assists and 196 penalty minutes in 131 games.
After his collegiate years, Genovy signed with the Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League. Over one and a half seasons with the Bucks (53 games) he compiled 10 goals, 17 assists and 36 penalty minutes. Genovy was traded to the Columbus affiliate Steelhounds in January 2008.[3]
